Bukit Timah - the highest point of Singapore. Might be the highest, but it's height it's not that impressive - 163 meters.
Located in the central part of Singapore and covered by rain forest, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve offers a moderate hiking experience - provided you're not using the cemented road to the summit :)
Quick guide to Bukit Timah Summit:
If you are not too lazy, do follow first the green trail - a nice passage thru the forest. Then, when the trail merges with the main road - take the stairs to the summit. Going down can be done via yellow trail - where you can spot some monkeys and beer-loving snails :)
Beer-loving snail - he resides in one of the Huts on the yellow trail. We've poured some beer on the ground just in front of him, when he was on a straight path from one side of the hut to the other. Then, once he reached the beer area - started to go around and around and soon there was no more beer on the ground, but a bit too fast to evaporate or sink in the ground :)
Another case - please do not feed the monkeys, as they will also take your beer supplies. Do not feed the monkeys!
