It might be already boring to go to the same place again and again, but MacRitchie is a nice and pretty quiet place where one may enjoy a close contact with many (wild) animals. Today, the most commonly spotted animals were monkeys, that were playing around with their whole families. There were also plenty of turtles swimming in MacRitchie reservoir.Read more
May 1st, public holiday. Not much time to go somewhere far, but just enough for a quick escape to the southern islands. As usual, start at 9AM from Marina South Pier, but this time we wanted to check out St. John's island first. We spent there around 2 hours only as the water level was pretty low and mosquitoes numbers were pretty high. Therefore we caught the next ferry to Kusu Island and spent the rest of the day there.Read more
This Sunday we headed to Labrador Park, with a plan to walk from the Labrador Nature Reserve to Harbour Front area. We've setup the meeting time at 9:30AM, so most of our friends preferred to sleep longer than joining us for a healthy walk ;-)Read more
This weekend's activity engaged more friends as it was connected with a Happy Beerday to Wuyang. After lunch we started our walk from MacRitchie reservoir main entrance to Bukit Timah. The route is around 10-11km long and leads thru rainforest, golf fields, board walk on the reservoir banks and Rifle Range Road in the end.Read more
Marina South Pier, 9AM ferry and we're on our way to Kusu Island for a peaceful Sunday. The ferry takes around 1h cause it passes by St. John's Island first - we need to visit that one next time. Good weather, good food, good company - objective achieved.Read more
