Day #3 in Kuching. Plan for the day - check out the caves (Wind Cave and Fairy Cave). This one we booked thru the hotel reception, we were picked up timely at 8:45AM and took around 1h ride to the caves area. The first one that we visited - Wind Cave - didn't offer much, but it was an interesting experience of a very dark and full of bats cave. After quick walk around, we went to the other one -Fairy Cave - that surprised us positively.Read more
Day two in Kuching. Early morning wake up to make it on time to the pick up location - just outside our hotel door ;-) We arranged a "packaged trip" that included a visit to quick visit to Orangutans sanctuary and then few hours of awesome kayaking experience - organized by Rainforest Kayaking.Read more
Another trip to Borneo, but this time with a group of friends and visiting the capital of Sarawak - Kuching.
It was a long weekend so we managed to spend several days there, enjoying the nearby Bako National Park, kayaking in the rain and exploring huge caves. It was a tiring few days, but the effort was worth it.Read more
It might be already boring to go to the same place again and again, but MacRitchie is a nice and pretty quiet place where one may enjoy a close contact with many (wild) animals. Today, the most commonly spotted animals were monkeys, that were playing around with their whole families. There were also plenty of turtles swimming in MacRitchie reservoir.Read more
